Hi,I have forgotten my user name and password for the EWS. I've been trying everything to restore it : network reset, holding copy colour and cancel buttons at the same time, holding wifi and cancel buttons at the same time, etc. but NOTHING works.
I can't access any of the settings of my printer because it still asks me for my username and password.
Can someone please give me a solution ? 🙏

Thanks to @Nickless09, I found this on another hread.
"Press and hold both the color copy and resume buttons, with your other hand power on the printer and keep holding the color copy and resume buttons till the printer starts, that should clear any password."
And it FINALLY WORKED !!! 🎉

Hi @melissb,
I'd like to help!
We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
- In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
