I have a damaged HP Envy 5660. It's old, out of warranty. It no longer connects to wireless network. I have replaced the printer, but would like to use the remaining ink cartridges, at least when it does print. (Sometimes it will no longer print, then starts up again.) Because of the issues, I removed it from instant ink program. Now it won't let me print at all because it's no longer connected. Is there a way to use the remaining cartridges since it's not connected any longer? Even if I could connect and re-enroll the printer, I don't want more ink sent to me for this printer, because it's days are definitely numbered. Thanks for advice. I just would like to avoid wasting a couple cartridges.

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
Instant Ink cartridges are provided -- and work -- during the time the printer is actively enrolled in the Instant Ink subscription service.,
Instant Ink cartridges remain the property of HP.
After the termination of the subscription, the cartridges will lock and cannot be used in any printer.
Return the all used and unused Instant Ink cartridges in the same envelope you use to return your depleted Instant Ink cartridges.
HP will take care of proper and eco-supported disposal.
Additional Information:
HP Instant Ink - Cancel Your HP Instant Ink Service
What else?
If you think the old printer is worth the expense, purchase a set of HP cartridges to use in the printer.
Other options are recycling the printer according to the laws and best practices in your region.
