Hi @cheers2us,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

We understand how frustrating it can be when your HP ENVY 6455e All-in-One Printer refuses to connect to your Wi-Fi network, especially when you just want to print something quickly and reliably. Let’s walk through the steps to get your printer reconnected and working smoothly again.

Step-by-Step Fix: Restore Wi-Fi Setup Mode and Reconnect

Step 1: Restore Wi-Fi Setup Mode

If your printer was previously connected and now isn’t showing up, you’ll need to re-enable Wi-Fi setup mode:

  • Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons on the printer until the Power button starts blinking.
  • Wait for the Wireless light to blink. This means the printer is now in setup mode and ready to connect.

More details here: Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on your HP printer | HP® Support

Step 2: Use the HP App

  1. Download from HP App – For HP Printers, Laptops, and Tech Accessories | HP® Official Site.
  2. Open the app and create or sign in to your HP account.
  3. Tap Add Printer and follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer to your Wi-Fi network.

Make sure:

  • Your device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you want the printer to use.
  • VPN is disabled during setup.
  • The printer is within range of the router.

Step 3: Check Router Settings

  • Ensure your router is not set to 5 GHz; only the ENVY 6455e supports 2.4GHz networks.
  • Avoid using guest networks or enterprise networks with login portals.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
