Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Hp Ink Tank 410 is not connecting to my wifi. It asks for Username and password which i never set on it tried username as admin and leaving password blank not worked. Tried all the possible solution available on the internet even resetting it by following the steps:
Turn off printer
Press and hold cancel(x) and Wifi button and turn on etc.
nothing worked. It only connects through usb and when I access EWS it asks for password which i never set.
Provide me a solution to Factory Default reset to remove all the passwords and username which I never set.

Hi @Ahmed3663,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

I see that you are facing an issue with accessing the EWS for your Printer.

Kindly refer to the steps on this link to perform a factory reset.

Please follow the steps below to connect your printer to the network again.

1) Uninstall the HP smart app by click on this link, Restart the computer or mobile device to clear possible error conditions.

2) Enable Wi-Fi setup mode: When you turn on your printer for the first time, it is temporarily placed in Wi-Fi setup mode so that it can be discovered during setup. Use the printer control panel to restore Wi-Fi setup mode, and then set up the printer again. Go to Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on your HP printer for more information.

3) Refer to this link to use the HP smart app on your phone/tablet/PC to add a printer.

Note: Enable Bluetooth for an HP Smart app setup: Enable Bluetooth on your computer or mobile device so that HP Smart can detect the printer during the setup.

Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.

I hope this helps.

The link you've provided to do a factory default reset does not have Ink Tank 415 there. It does contains all the printers including ink tank 500 and 550 plus but not ink tank 410 series neither ink tank 415.

Its not about restoring wifi setup i do know how to put it into wifi setup mode but that is not the problem. Problem is it ask for username and password which is set on Embedded Web Server which i  never set and there is no label on the printer or the printer box which contains pin or the password. Because of that I could not able to connect it to the router. The steps you shared in your first reply about restoring factory default that can remove that username and password. That page do not have step to do it for Ink Tank 415.

Kindly, look at the attached image to understand my problem.
