Hi, my printer is loosing its WiFi connection every few days. When this happens, the printer can't be detected by other devices on the wifi and the printer display is showing a yellow warning symbol above the WiFi sign.
The wireless network test report indicates:
Wireless On = pass
Wireless Working = pass
Network name (ssid) found = fail
Security = fail
The remaining tests are "not run".
Simply restarting the printer solves the problem, but its very frusting having to walk to the printer and wait until the restart is donne before being able to print.
This is not why I bought a Wi-Fi printer for !
None of my other network devices have any problems with the WiFi connection.
Is there a permanent fix for this problem ?

I have exactly the same issue. The printers disconnects after a few days/week. After that i can either restart the printer, or go to the wifi settings and turn the WIFI off, and then back on again. This works, but it's annoying. I have a pretty stable mesh wifi setup, and none of my other devices have this issue.

Hi @Cédric1,
I'd like to help!
To assist better -
- Are you trying to connect your printer to your home network or public network?
- What is the status of the wireless light on the printer, steady or blinking?
- What device are you using the printer with, a Windows computer, Mac, Android, or an iPhone?
- I would like to know, is your router set to work on a 2.4 GHz network or a 5 GHz network band?
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hi @Jay_G24,
Here are the answers to your questions:
1. I’m connecting the printer to my home network
2. The printer doesn’t have a wireless light, only a wireless symbol on the lcd screen, which is steady but over which there is a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark when the problem occurs
3. I’m using a windows computer, an iPhone and an android device. When the problem occurs, the printer appears offline to all of these devices, so neither of these devices can print or scan anymore until the printer is restarted.
4. The router is offering both the 2.4 GHz as the 5 GHz band under one SSID
I’m looking forward to your suggestions!
Regards,
Cédric
