@Wendylynn78, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your HP DeskJet 2600 is showing multiple blinking lights and isn’t connecting to Wi-Fi. Let’s walk through the steps to get it working:
Perform a Printer Reset
Sometimes a simple reset helps clear any previous settings:
- With the printer powered on, unplug the power cord from the back.
- Wait for 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back in and turn the printer on.
Restore Network Settings
To connect to your Wi-Fi, we’ll first reset the network settings:
- Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button together for 5 seconds.
- This will restore the printer’s network settings to default and enable Wi-Fi setup mode (the Wireless light should start blinking).
Use HP Smart App to Connect
- Download the HP Smart app on your smartphone or PC:
HP Smart - Open the app and click Set up a new printer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi.
Make sure your phone or PC is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you want the printer to use.
Check the Light Indicators
Here’s a guide to what the lights mean:

If a specific light is staying on or blinking, this guide will help you identify the issue (e.g., paper jam, low ink, etc.).
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
