Hi @goodysri,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To connect your HP DeskJet 2700 series printer to a Wi-Fi network, you can use one of the following methods:

Method 1: Use the HP Smart App

The HP Smart app is the easiest way to set up your printer wirelessly. Here’s how:

Download and Install HP Smart:

  • Download the HP Smart app from the HP website, the App Store (for iOS), or Google Play Store (for Android).

Open the HP Smart App:

  • Open the HP Smart app on your smartphone or computer.

Add Printer:

  • Click on the Plus (+) sign to add a new printer.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to find and add your printer. Make sure your printer is turned on and close to your Wi-Fi router.

Connect to Wi-Fi:

  • During the setup, the HP Smart app will prompt you to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network. Follow the on-screen instructions and enter your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password when prompted.

Method 2: Use Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)

If your router supports WPS, you can use this method to connect your printer to the network.

Locate the WPS Button on Your Router:

  • Find the WPS button on your router. It is usually labeled as "WPS" or has a symbol of two arrows forming a circle.

Press the WPS Button on Your Router:

  • Press the WPS button on your router.

Enable WPS on Your Printer:

  • Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer until the wireless light starts blinking.
  • Press and hold the WPS button on the printer (if available) or follow the instructions in the user manual for enabling WPS.

Method 3: Manual Wireless Setup Using HP Print and Scan Doctor

If the above methods don’t work, you can try using the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool.

Download HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • Download the tool from the HP Support page.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • Open the tool and select your printer.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to diagnose and fix any connection issues

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
