Hello all,

I have an Hp officejet pro 8720 at my work that refuses to connect to anything. I'd rather not setup a manual ip as many people connect to this printer day in and day out and I have mac filtering disabled and still this printer just refuses to connect to anything, I've even tried a hard line connection and the printer still wont connect to the network.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to assist you with the printer offline issue.

Let's restore the network settings on the Printer:

1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ). 2. Touch Network Setup. 3. Touch Restore Network Settings. A message appears stating that the network defaults will be restored. 4. Touch Yes.

Once done, connect the Printer back to the Wi-Fi.

Also, do check with your network provider, the encryption type of your new network and whether it's 2.4 or 5 GHz.

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Have a great day!
