I purchased the HP Smart Tank 580 printer. On setting up I could connect my printer to my wifi network . But in the next step of the setup , I could not finish the setup as a technical error is displayed even though the printer and my laptop or phone are all connected to the same wifi network . Kindly help me .

Hi @Rajenderjetti,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I see that you are facing issues with connecting your HP Smart Tank 580 Printer to your wi-fi network.
Please follow the steps listed below to restore the printer to its network defaults and then reconnect it to the network.
Step 1: Restore the printer to its network defaults.
1. Press and hold the Information button for 5 seconds until the control panel buttons light up.
2. Press the Wi-Fi button and the Cancel button at the same time for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi light blinks blue. Note: Restoring printer network settings places the printer in Wi-Fi setup mode. In Wi-Fi setup mode, the Wi-Fi light blinks blue, the Wi-Fi signal bars cycle, and the Wi-Fi alert icon is off.
Step 2: Reconnect the Printer to the network:
1. Make sure your router and printer are not too far from each other.
2. From the printer control panel, press and hold the Wi-Fi button for at least 3 seconds to start WPS.
3. Press the WPS button on your router.
NOTE: Be sure to press the WPS button on the router within 2 minutes.
4. Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device. If prompted, create or sign in to an HP account.
5. On the app Home screen, click or tap the Plus icon or Add Printer, and follow the onscreen instructions to add or connect the printer.
NOTE:
● If prompted for the printer password, enter the default PIN available from a label on the printer. See Find the default printer password or PIN.
● When the printer is connected successfully, the Wi-Fi light stops blinking and remains lit.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a nice day.
