The error code EBS00P0013 on your HP Envy 6032e printer typically indicates an issue during the setup process, often related to a connection or configuration problem. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.
Check Printer Connection
- Wi-Fi Connection: Make sure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your device. If the printer is on a different network, you may encounter errors during setup.
- Reboot Devices: Turn off your printer, router, and the device you're using for setup (computer, phone, etc.). Wait for about 30 seconds and then power them back on.
- Check Router Settings: Ensure that your router is not blocking any ports or devices that might interfere with the connection.
Use HP Smart App
- If you're using the HP Smart app for setup, ensure it is up to date. Download the latest version from the app store (iOS or Android) or from HP's website.
- Try to complete the setup again by following the on-screen instructions.
Factory Reset the Printer
- If the issue persists, consider performing a factory reset on the printer to clear any faulty configurations:
- Turn off the printer.
- Press and hold the 'Wireless' and 'Cancel' buttons simultaneously for about 10 seconds.
- Release the buttons when the power light starts flashing, indicating that the printer is resetting.
- After the reset is complete, attempt the setup process again.
Manual Setup via Web Browser
- If you're unable to complete the setup via the app, you can try manually connecting the printer to your network using the printer's control panel. Here's how:
- Press the Wi-Fi button on your printer.
