I bought a new MacBook Air and the printer says it can't connect. I have tried all resets. My old MacBook Air prints perfectly. The printer is the HP5661. When I print the printer report it says it is connected and ready. Why won't the new printer recognize the printer even after updating drivers, etc?

Hi @Gladiator14
1. Checking on printer specifications for Envy 5661 show the next for Wifi connections:
- Wi-Fi Standard: Supports Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, operating on the 2.4 GHz band only.
2. So you need to start again the Wireless Setup Wizard on the printer front panel options and make sure that printer is connecting to a 2.4G network.
3. After connecting printer to a 2.4G network, then try again to connect to your Macbook laptop.
4. For an alternative your can enable the Wifi-Direct option on your printer and check if that works, following steps from the next video:
