Suddenly I can no longer fax from my computer.  Can someone please help me

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-in-One Printer after using it successfully before, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot:

 

Check the Printer's Connection: Ensure the printer is properly connected to your computer via USB or network connection. For networked printers, make sure it's connected to the same network as your computer.

Restart Devices: Restart your computer and printer to reset any temporary issues.

Update Printer Drivers: Ensure you have the latest printer drivers installed. Visit the HP website, search for your printer model, and download the latest drivers for Windows 10.

Check Fax Settings: Make sure the fax settings on your printer are correctly configured. You may need to set up the fax options again in the HP software or on the printer's control panel.

Reinstall HP Software: Sometimes, reinstalling the HP printer software can resolve faxing issues. Uninstall the current software and download the latest version from the HP website.

Windows Fax and Scan: If you’re using Windows Fax and Scan, ensure it’s properly set up:

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click on your printer and select Properties.
