I am unable to reconnect my Envy 5530 series printer to web services on my Mac. The current Mac OS is Sonoma 14.5. Does anybody have a clue how to fix this issue?

Hi @ptpro96,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're having trouble reconnecting your HP Envy 5530 series printer to web services on macOS Sonoma 14.5, here’s a detailed guide to help you troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
**1. Check Network Connection
- Ensure that your HP Envy 5530 is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Mac. You can check this on the printer’s control panel under Wireless Settings or Network Settings.
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is working properly. Try restarting your router and checking the connection strength.
**2. Restart Devices
- Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
- Restart your Mac to refresh the network connections and system settings.
**3. Update Printer Firmware
- Visit the HP Support website and search for your HP Envy 5530 series printer.
- Download and install any available firmware updates to ensure compatibility with macOS Sonoma.
**4. Reinstall HP Printer Software
- Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Select your HP Envy 5530 printer and click the minus (-) button to remove it.
- Download the latest drivers and software for macOS Sonoma from the HP Support website.
- Install the software and follow the setup instructions to add your printer again.
**5. Reconfigure Web Services
- On your printer’s control panel, navigate to Setup > Web Services.
- Follow the prompts to enable Web Services. This might involve printing a configuration report or setting up a new connection.
- Open the HP Smart app on your Mac or download it from the Mac App Store.
- Use the app to configure Web Services by adding your printer and following the on-screen instructions.
**6. Check HP Connected Account
- Visit HP Connected and log in with your HP account credentials.
- Ensure your printer is listed in your account and there are no issues with the Web Services settings
- If necessary, remove the printer from your HP Connected account and re-register it by following the setup instructions.
**7. Verify Printer Settings on Mac
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Thank you Rachel for your input. I performed all the steps in your response prior to this post. After exhausting every option, another HP agent and I determined that there was no way to reconnect my printer to HP web services. He’s upgraded me to a new printer.
