I changed to a new modem. My HP ENVY PRO 6400 went offline. I reset the modem several times. Unplugged the printer several times. Deleted the driver to try to reinstall and start from scratch and now cannot find the full driver to download

If you’re having trouble reinstalling your HP Envy Pro 6400 after changing your modem and resetting your printer, here’s a step-by-step guide to help you get your printer back online:

1. Connect Printer to the Network

a. Reset Printer Network Settings

  1. Power On Printer: Make sure your printer is turned on.
  2. Access Wireless Menu: On the printer's control panel, go to the wireless or network settings.
  3. Restore Network Settings: Look for an option to restore network settings or reset network settings to default.

b. Connect Printer to New Network

Printer Wireless Setup:

  • On the printer's control panel, go to the wireless setup wizard.
  • Follow the prompts to select your new Wi-Fi network and enter the Wi-Fi password.

Confirm Connection:

  • Ensure that the printer successfully connects to the new network. You might see a confirmation message or network icon on the printer’s display.

2. Download and Install Drivers

a. Download Drivers

Visit HP Support Website:

  • Go to the HP Support website.
  • Enter "HP Envy Pro 6400" in the search bar and select your printer model from the dropdown list.

Select Operating System:

  • Choose your operating system (e.g., Windows 11) from the dropdown menu.

Download Full Feature Software:

  • Download the Full Feature Software and Drivers package. This package includes all necessary drivers and software for your printer.

b. Install Drivers

Run the Installer:

  • Open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.

Setup Printer:

  • During installation, you should be prompted to connect your printer. Choose the option to connect via Wi-Fi and follow the prompts to complete the setup.
