Hi @mikvee713,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To connect your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M180nw to your new home network, you typically need to follow these steps.

Access the Printer's Control Panel: Ensure the printer is turned on and ready.

Reset Network Settings (if necessary): Since your network name (SSID) has changed due to the new modem/router, it's a good idea to reset the network settings on the printer to start fresh.

  • Press the Wireless button or go to the Network menu on the printer's control panel.
  • Look for options like "Restore Network Settings", "Network Setup", or "Wireless Setup Wizard".
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to reset the network settings. This will clear any previous network configurations.

Reconnect to Wi-Fi:

  • After resetting, the printer will restart and should enter a setup mode where it searches for available networks.
  • When prompted, select your new Wi-Fi network (SSID) from the list of available networks.
  • Enter your new Wi-Fi network password (if required).

Manual Input (if needed): If the printer does not automatically detect your network or if you need to manually enter the network name (SSID):

  • Again, access the Wireless or Network menu on the printer's control panel.
  • Look for an option like "Enter SSID" or "Manual Setup".
  • Input your new Wi-Fi network name (SSID) using the printer's keypad or touchscreen interface.

Completing Setup: Once you have entered the network name and password, the printer should attempt to connect to the network.

Verification: After connecting successfully, print a network configuration page or use the printer's control panel to verify that it has obtained an IP address from your new router.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
