If your HP DeskJet 4800 series printer is not printing wirelessly, there are several troubleshooting steps you can follow to identify and resolve the issue. Here’s a comprehensive guide:

Step 1: Check Network Connection

Ensure Printer is Connected to Wi-Fi:

  • On the printer's control panel, navigate to the wireless settings menu.
  • Confirm that the printer is connected to your Wi-Fi network. If not, follow the on-screen instructions to connect it.

Ensure Device is on the Same Network:

  • Ensure the device you're printing from (computer, phone, tablet) is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your printer.

Step 2: Restart Devices

Restart Printer:

  • Turn off your printer, wait for 30 seconds, and then turn it back on.

Restart Router:

  • Restart your Wi-Fi router by unplugging it, waiting for 30 seconds, and plugging it back in.

Restart Device:

  • Restart the device you are printing from.

Step 3: Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor

Download and Install:

Run the Tool:

  • Open the tool and click "Start".
  • Select your HP DeskJet 4800 printer and follow the on-screen instructions to diagnose and fix any issues.

Step 4: Reconnect the Printer

  1. Remove and Re-add Printer:
    • On your computer, go to "Settings" > "Devices" > "Printers & Scanners".
    • Select your HP DeskJet 4800 printer and click "Remove device".
    • Click "Add a printer or scanner" and follow the instructions to re-add your printer.
