Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

Have an HP deskjet 2755e.  Its hardwired to my PC.  It no longer will print from my PC.  It does print from my husbands and from phones. the drivers are current.   Printer problem or PC Problem

I'm guessing it is in Wi-Fi direct mode and even though it's connected to your computer you still cannot access it as it is responding to Wi-Fi

 

There is an option in the on-screen display to connect using USB.  If you enable that I suspect all other PCs and smartphone will be disconnected as the Wi-Fi will no longer be enabled.

 

Unplug the USB cable.

You can get the PIN and any passwords from a printer report as described on page 9 of the User Manual.
