Hi @Nonayabizness,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Reconnect Printer with Touchscreen Control Panel

Turn On the Printer:

  • Ensure your HP Envy 5055 printer is powered on.

Open Wireless Setup Wizard:

  • On the printer's touchscreen control panel, touch the Wireless icon.
  • Navigate to and touch Settings, then Wireless Setup Wizard.

Select Your Network:

  • The wizard will search for wireless networks. When your network appears, touch its name.
  • Enter your new network password if prompted.

Restore Wi-Fi Setup Mode

If your printer does not connect using the above method, restore Wi-Fi setup mode and try reconnecting.

Touchscreen Control Panel:

  • On the control panel, open the Wireless menu.
  • Select Network Setup or Settings.
  • Select Restore Network Settings.

Complete Setup:

  • Follow the steps in the HP Smart app to complete the setup from scratch.

Use the HP Smart App

Download the HP Smart App:

Prepare for Setup:

  • Make sure your computer or mobile device is connected to the same WiFi network as your printer.
  • Enable Bluetooth and location services (for mobile devices).

Open the HP Smart App:

  • Open the app and sign in (or create an account).
  • Click Add Printer or Set Up a New Printer.

Follow Prompts:

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your new WiFi network.

I hope this helps.
