Hi @Almostdead77, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Since your HP OfficeJet Pro 9129e is connected to the internet but says it's not, let's go through some steps to fix this issue:
Restart Everything

Restart Your Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Restart Your Router

  • Unplug your router for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and wait for it to reconnect.

Restart Your Computer or Mobile Device

  • If you're using a computer or phone to check the printer, restart it as well.

Check Printer’s Internet Connection

Print a Network Configuration Page:

  • On the printer, go to Setup > Reports > Network Configuration Report
  • Print the report and check if the printer is connected to your Wi-Fi.

Check the Wireless Icon:

  • On your printer’s screen, look for the Wi-Fi symbol.
  • If it has a checkmark or solid bars, it should be connected.

Reconnect Wi-Fi on the Printer

On the Printer, go to:

  • Setup > Network Setup > Wireless Settings > Wireless Setup Wizard
  • Select your Wi-Fi network and enter your password again.

If possible, connect your printer to the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (instead of 5 GHz).

Reconnect to HP Services

Go to the Printer’s Web Page (EWS):

  • Open a web browser on your computer.
  • Type the printer’s IP Address (from the Network Configuration Report) in the address bar.
  • Press Enter.

Check HP Web Services:

  • Click on Web Services or HP ePrint settings.
  • If it's disabled, turn it ON.
  • If it asks for updates, install them.

Update Printer Firmware

  1. On the printer, go to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Update the Printer
  2. If an update is available, install it.

Sign in to HP Smart

  1. Open the HP Smart App on your phone or computer.
  2. Log in with your HP account.
  3. Check if the printer shows as connected.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
