Try these steps:

Ensure Network Setup

  1. Check Wi-Fi Signal: Ensure your Wi-Fi signal is strong and your router is working properly.
  2. Printer Location: Place the printer within range of your Wi-Fi router.

Restore Network Settings on Printer

  • On the printer control panel, touch the Wi-Fi button (which looks like a wireless antenna) and the Information button (which looks like an "i") simultaneously.
  • Hold down both buttons for about 5 seconds until the Ready light begins to flash.

Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi

  • Download the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store, Apple App Store, or Google Play Store.
  • Open the HP Smart app on your device.
  • In the HP Smart app, click on Add Printer.
  • Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your printer to the new Wi-Fi network.
  • Ensure you enter the correct Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password.

Install Printer on Windows/Mac

  • Open Settings by pressing Win + I.
  • Navigate to Devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Click on Add a printer or scanner and wait for your HP ENVY 6000 to appear in the list.
  • Select your printer and follow the prompts to complete the setup.
  • Open System Preferences.
  • Select Printers & Scanners.
  • Click on the + button to add a new printer.
  • Select your HP ENVY 6000 from the list and follow the prompts to complete the setup.

Update Printer Software

  • Download HP Support Assistant from HP Support Assistant.
  • Run the HP Support Assistant and follow the prompts to update the printer firmware and drivers.
  • Press Win + I to open Settings.
  • Navigate to Update & Security and click Check for updates.
