Hi @Mlshelata,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To change the WiFi network for your HP LaserJet Pro M118dw printer to a new network, follow these steps.
Ensure Printer is Powered On: Make sure your printer is turned on.
Access the Printer's Control Panel:
- On the printer’s control panel, tap on the Wireless icon or Wi-Fi button to open the wireless settings menu.
Open Wireless Settings Menu:
- Navigate to the Wireless or Network menu. This might be listed as Network Setup or Wireless Setup depending on your printer's firmware version.
Select Wireless Setup Wizard:
- Choose the Wireless Setup Wizard option. The printer will search for available wireless networks.
Choose Your New Network:
- From the list of available networks, select your new, faster Wi-Fi network.
Enter Network Password:
- You will be prompted to enter the Wi-Fi password. Use the printer’s control panel to enter the password carefully.
Confirm and Connect:
- Confirm your network selection and password. The printer will attempt to connect to the new network.
Print a Network Configuration Page (Optional):
- For verification, you can print a network configuration page to check if the printer is connected to the new network. This option is usually available in the wireless settings menu.
Update Printer Settings on Your Computer:
- If necessary, update your printer settings on your computer to ensure it is connected to the new network. You may need to reinstall the printer driver or re-add the printer via your computer’s print settings.
If you encounter any issues or the printer does not connect to the new network, double-check the network password and ensure your Wi-Fi network is functioning properly.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

The tip provided doesn't appear to be related to my printer HP LaserJet Pro M118dw - it does not have a display panel. I only have the buttons on the left, which includes the wifi button. I need to change the network settings from the Frontier network to the Xfinity network which we received to a couple day ago. I can see from the printer configuration and wireless network test report that the printer has the Frontier network configured on the printer. Appreciate any help you can provide
