HP DeskJet 2723e All-in-One Printer

Hp  Deskjet 2723e , I have problem trying to connect to the internet.  For the longest time I have connected to my printer  thru my wifi setting on my 

ipad.  The Hp printer comes thru as it’s own network hook up. This is no longer working and my instant ink is not showing connection.
