Hi @ressie204,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To reconnect your HP DeskJet 3722 printer to your new Wi-Fi network, follow these steps.

Reset the Printer's Network Settings

  1. Turn on the printer.
  2. Press and hold the "Wireless" button (the one with the icon that looks like a radio tower) until the light starts to blink. This usually takes about 5 seconds.
  3. Press and hold the "Cancel" button (the one with a red X) for about 5 seconds. The wireless light should start blinking quickly, indicating that the network settings have been reset.

Reconnect to the New Wi-Fi Network

  1. Make sure your printer is close to the router to ensure a strong signal.
  2. Use the HP Smart app (if available):
    • Download the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device if you haven't already.
    • Open the app and click on "Add Printer."
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your new Wi-Fi network.
  3. Connect using the printer control panel:
    • On the printer, press the Wireless button again to enable the wireless setup mode. The wireless light should blink.
    • Next, press and hold the WPS button on your router for about 5 seconds. If successful, the printer's wireless light will stop blinking and stay on, indicating a successful connection.

Print a Wireless Test Report

Once connected, try printing a test page:

  1. From the printer control panel, press and hold the Cancel button until the printer prints a report.
  2. You can also try printing an information page by going to the printer settings in the HP Smart app or the printer's built-in menu (if available).

Additional Troubleshooting

If the above steps do not resolve the issue:

  • Ensure your printer is updated: Use the HP Smart app to check for firmware updates.
  • Check network compatibility: Ensure your new router is compatible with your printer (2.4 GHz band is required).
  • Firewall settings: Check if your new router's firewall settings are blocking the printer's connection.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
