Hi @Cfabb,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To update your HP ENVY Pro 6455 All-In-One Printer with your new Wi-Fi network information, you'll need to follow these steps.
-
Make sure your printer is turned on and in a ready state.
-
On the printer's control panel, press the Wireless icon or button. This will typically look like a small wireless symbol.
-
If the printer's wireless is turned off, you may need to enable it. Look for the option to enable wireless or connect to a network.
-
Once the printer's wireless is enabled, it will start searching for available Wi-Fi networks. It may take a moment to detect networks.
-
On the printer's control panel, you should see a list of available Wi-Fi networks. Select your new Wi-Fi network from the list.
-
If prompted, enter the Wi-Fi network's password. Make sure to enter it correctly.
-
After entering the password, the printer should attempt to connect to the Wi-Fi network. This may take a minute or two.
-
Once the printer is successfully connected to your new Wi-Fi network, it should go online, and the offline message should disappear.
If you're having trouble connecting your printer to the new Wi-Fi network, you can try the following troubleshooting steps.
-
Double-check that you've entered the correct Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password. Typos in the network name or password can prevent a successful connection.
-
Ensure that your new internet service is working correctly. You can test this by connecting other devices, such as a computer or smartphone, to the same Wi-Fi network.
-
Restart your printer and try the setup process again.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
