Hi @INdra108,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP DeskJet 2755 All-In-One Printer is showing an "Offline" error when trying to print from your new computer, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can follow to resolve the issue.
- Check Printer Connection: Ensure that your printer is properly connected to your computer via a USB cable or over the network, depending on the connection type you are using. If you're using a wireless connection, make sure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
- Restart Printer: Sometimes, restarting the printer can help resolve connectivity issues. Turn off the printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
- Restart Computer: Restart your computer to ensure that any temporary software glitches are cleared.
- Check Printer Status: Open the "Devices and Printers" or "Printers & Scanners" settings on your computer. Make sure that the printer is listed and set as the default printer. If it's not, right-click on the printer and select "Set as default printer."
- Clear Print Queue: Sometimes, print jobs stuck in the queue can cause connectivity problems. Open the print queue and clear any pending print jobs.
- Check Printer Online Status: In the "Devices and Printers" or "Printers & Scanners" settings, right-click on the printer and see if there's an option to bring it online. Click on that option if available.
- Check for Software Updates: Visit the HP official website and check if there are any software or driver updates available for your printer model. Download and install any updates as necessary.
- Check Firewall/Antivirus Settings: Your computer's firewall or antivirus software might be blocking the printer's communication. Temporarily disable the firewall or antivirus and try printing again. If it works, you'll need to create an exception for the printer in your security software.
- Reinstall Printer Drivers: If none of the above steps work, uninstall the printer drivers from your computer and then reinstall them using the latest drivers from the HP website.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
