Hi @Lazar9

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I'm really sorry you're having trouble connecting your HP OfficeJet Pro 8030 to your Dell 7700 PC. Let's get your printer connected wirelessly step by step, so you can start printing smoothly.

Step-by-Step: Connect OfficeJet Pro 8030 Wirelessly to Your Dell Computer

Step 1: Restore Wireless Setup Mode on the Printer

This prepares the printer to reconnect to Wi-Fi:

On the printer control panel, go to:

Settings > Network Settings > Restore Network Defaults

Confirm the reset.

Wait for the blue wireless light to start blinking—this means it's in setup mode.

If the light doesn’t blink, restart the printer and try again.

Step 2: Install HP Smart on Your Dell PC

On your Dell computer, open a browser and go to:
HP Smart App for Windows

Download and install the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store.

Open the HP Smart app and click "Set Up a New Printer".

Follow the on-screen instructions:

Select your printer (it should appear automatically if Wi-Fi setup mode is active).

Enter your Wi-Fi network name and password when prompted.

Wait for the printer to connect.

Step 3: Finish Setup and Print Test Page

Once connected, HP Smart will walk you through:

Completing registration (optional)

Aligning the printhead

Print a test page to confirm wireless connection is working.

If Your Printer Doesn’t Appear in HP Smart:

Ensure both your printer and Dell PC are on the same Wi-Fi network.

Temporarily disable VPN or firewall during setup (if enabled).

Try moving the printer closer to the router during setup.

Let me know if your printer shows up in HP Smart or if you'd like help connecting it without the app. I'm here to walk you through it until you're fully set up.
