My internet provider is running a 5G line into my home....I have Officejet Pro 8630 which will not operate on the 5G system modem. If I shut the speed down on the modem (which I can do for 15 minutes ) the printer then operates just fine. Is there a firm ware upgrade available for this printer so it will read the modem and operate as it should?

Hi @Barney1965,

 

I'd like to help!

 

I understand you are unable to connect the printer to the network.

 

The HP Officejet Pro 8630 e-All-in-One Printer does not support a 5GHz network

 

The printer only supports  802.11 b/g/n – 2.4 GHz networks only
