@davidjhernandez, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP OfficeJet 4630!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
It sounds like you’ve covered most of the basics already! Let’s troubleshoot step-by-step to narrow down the issue:
Check Printer Status
- Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers (or Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Printers & Scanners).
- Right-click on HP Officejet 4630 and select See what's printing.
- If there are any stuck print jobs, clear the queue.
Set Printer as Default
- In the Devices and Printers section, right-click your printer and select Set as default printer.
Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor from the HP website.
- This tool will diagnose and fix connection, driver, and printing issues automatically.
Restart the Printer Spooler Service
- Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Find Print Spooler in the list.
- Right-click and select Restart.
Try Printing a Test Page
- Right-click the printer in Devices and Printers and select Printer Properties > Print Test Page.
Firewall or Antivirus Interference
- Temporarily disable your firewall or antivirus and try printing again.
- If it works, create an exception for the printer in your security settings.
Try a Direct USB Connection
- If you’re using a wireless connection, try connecting the printer via USB to see if it works that way.
- If it prints via USB but not wirelessly, there may be a network communication issue.
If none of these steps work, let me know, and we can try deeper troubleshooting! 😎
Take care, and have an amazing day!
