I have the same problem, I Forgot my password for EWS and need to reset it. OFFICEJET 4630

Hello I hope that someone can help me, I set the EWS password thousands of printed pages ago and now I can not remember what I set the password to. I have tried doing semi full reset from the secret service menu but that does not reset the EWS password. Please help if you know how to reset the user name and password for the Embedded Web Server.

I understand that you want to reset the EWS password, I am glad to assist you.

Resetting the printer's network settings to its factory default settings erases the embedded Web server (EWS) administrator password.

Follow these steps to reset the printer to the factory default settings:-

1. On the printer control panel, press the Wireless button .

   The wireless menu displays.

2. Press the button  next to Settings, scroll to Print Report, and then press OK.

3. Scroll to Configuration Page, and then press OK.

Login to the EWS page with the default credentials and change the password.

Username: admin

Password: "leave it blank"
