I purchased an HP DeskJet 3755 printer. The day before it was delivered, my MacBook Air downloaded the newest OS (12.2.1) Monterey. Any ideas of what I can do to get my computer to recognize/find my new printer? I'm not very tech minded, so layman terms are appreciated.

@DMP_21-, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I see that you are trying to install the printer on the Mac.
For assistance with the printer setup, click here.
Connect the printer to the same network as the Mac
Use the WPS method, refer to - Connecting an HP Printer Using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)
- Make sure the printer and the Mac are connected to the same wireless network. Either 2.4 or 5GHz network.
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.
You may either use the HP Smart app or AirPrint driver to print and scan from the Mac.
HP printer setup (HP Smart app) or Printing with Apple AirPrint (Mac)
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
