Hi @Andrey_S_S

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.

To reset the admin password on your HP LaserJet Pro M15W printer, you can try these steps to restore the factory default settings:

  1. Restore Factory Defaults via Control Panel (if accessible):
    • Power on the printer.
    • Locate the Cancel button (the red button with an "X") and the Wireless button.
    • Press and hold both the Cancel and Wireless buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds.
    • Release the buttons when the printer restarts.
  2. Using the HP Smart App:
    • Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
    • Go to Printer Settings.
    • Look for an option to Restore Factory Defaults or Reset Settings.
    • Follow the prompts to reset the printer.
  3. Using the Embedded Web Server (EWS):
    • If you still have network access to the printer, open a web browser and enter the printer’s IP address.
    • Log in to the EWS (if you remember the previous login details) and look for Network or Security Settings.
    • Select the option to reset the printer or remove the admin password.
  4. Manual Reset:
    • Unplug the printer’s power cord from the back.
    • Wait for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
    • Power it on and try setting up again using the HP Smart app.

After resetting, you should be able to set a new admin password during setup.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
