@Disapointed1967, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP LaserJet M110w!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
That “Check my account” alert usually pops up on HP+ or Instant Ink printers when there’s an issue with the subscription or HP account linked to the printer. The alarm light and “not connected” message can be the printer’s way of telling you it’s having trouble staying synced online.
Here’s what you can try step by step:
Check your HP account
Sign in at HP Smart / Instant Ink and see if there are any billing, payment, or subscription alerts. If your account is paused or has an expired payment, the printer will warn you like this.
Restart the connection
Power off the printer, unplug it for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
Restart your Wi-Fi router too (sometimes it’s just a hiccup).
Reconnect the printer to Wi-Fi
On the M110w, press and hold the Wireless button until the light blinks, then reconnect it using the HP Smart app on your phone/computer.
Update firmware (if available)
In the HP Smart app, check for a firmware update. A quick update often clears out connection/account sync issues.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
