Hi @Alex770,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd like to help!
To be able to answer you effectively, we need some information.
Make sure, your printer and your device are on the same network as 2.4GHZ only.
What device are you using the printer with a Windows computer, Mac, Android, or iPhone?
How is the printer connected USB or Wireless?
What is the status of the wireless light on the printer, steady or blinking?
Have you done any changes to your router network or software?
Meanwhile,
Perform a power reset on the printer.
- Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet - Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
You may also, perform the steps from this document and see if that works
Update the firmware
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hi thank you for getting back to me.
I have the printer connected to my windows pc.
I bought a usb to connect it to my computer but it didn’t work, when you plug is up with a usb it makes a sound meaning it acknowledges that it is connected yet the computer can’t seem to find it. The whole wifi setting in the printer is gone and where it shows the status of the wireless light it doesn’t even turn on. I tried to do it another way and it tells me to turn wireless setting on but like I said the whole setting is gone.
