HP ENVY Photo 7155 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I moved from Florida back to Austin in the last two weeks. I changed my internet service to Optimum which handles

my area. My printer is not listed and every time I try to get this set up I hit a dead end. Would appreciate any help to get my

printer listed so I can print.

Hi @Hallwood6

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Since you've changed locations and internet service, your HP ENVY Photo 7155 printer likely needs to be reconnected to your new Wi-Fi network.

Here’s how to get it listed again:

1. Reset the Printer’s Network Settings

  • On the printer’s control panel, press and hold the Wireless button until the light starts blinking.
  • This resets the network settings, allowing you to set up a new connection.

2. Reconnect Using HP Smart

  • Open the HP Smart app on your Windows 11 device.
  • Click Add Printer and follow the on-screen instructions to connect it to the new Wi-Fi network.

3. Use WPS (If Your Router Supports It)

  • Press the WPS button on your Optimum router.
  • Then, press and hold the Wireless button on the printer until the light starts blinking.
  • The printer should automatically connect to the new network.

4. Manually Enter Wi-Fi Credentials

  • If the above methods don’t work, you may need to manually enter the new Wi-Fi name and password via the printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS).
  • To access EWS, connect the printer to your computer via USB, open a browser, and enter the printer’s IP address.

5. Remove and Re-add the Printer

  • Go to SettingsDevicesPrinters & Scanners.
  • Remove the printer from the list, then click Add a printer to re-detect it.

Let me know if you need more guidance!
