Hi @Lisa2668,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If you're having trouble connecting your HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 to your wireless network, restoring the network settings and setting up the printer via the HP Smart app can help get you back on track.

Restore Network Settings on Your HP OfficeJet Pro 8710

To bring your printer back to its original wireless settings:

  1. From the printer control panel, swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Dashboard.
  2. Tap the Setup icon (⚙️).
  3. Select Network Setup.
  4. Tap Restore Network Settings.
  5. When prompted, touch Yes to confirm.
  6. Once complete, we recommend printing a Network Configuration Page to confirm the reset was successful.

Install and use the HP Smart App (Recommended Method)

Use the HP Smart app to easily reconnect your printer to Wi-Fi and manage your device:

  1. Download the HP Smart app:
  2. Open the app and create/sign in with an HP account.
  3. Tap the “+” to add a new printer.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 to your wireless network.

🛠️ Make sure your computer or mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you want the printer to use.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
