I am trying to connect myHP LaserJet Pro M102w printer with my new computer. I need a WPA2 password to connect the printer through wifi. I have tried printing an information sheet which has no password information on it. How do I find my password for this printer?

Hi @alishaandbritt,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To find the WPA2 password for connecting your HP LaserJet Pro M102w printer to WiFi, you can follow these steps.
Check Your Router:
- The WPA2 password is typically the WiFi password for your router. You can usually find it printed on a label on the back or underside of your router. If you don't see it there, you can log into your router's web interface using its IP address and check the WiFi settings.
Use the Printer’s Control Panel:
- If your printer supports it, you may be able to access the network settings directly from the printer's control panel (though it may not display the WPA2 password). You can find network settings by navigating to the Network or Wireless options in the printer’s menu. Look for a "Wireless Setup Wizard" or similar option, which will allow you to reconnect to your WiFi network.
Use the HP Smart App:
- If you're using the HP Smart app, you can use it to set up the printer on your new computer, and it may automatically connect to your WiFi if it's within range.
Reset the Printer's Network Settings:
- If you're still having trouble, you can reset the printer’s network settings and try setting up the WiFi connection from scratch. This usually involves holding down the Wireless and Cancel buttons together for a few seconds. Afterward, you can use the Wireless Setup Wizard to connect to your network.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
