Make sure, your printer and your device are on the same network as 2.4GHZ only. 

 

To link your HP DeskJet 4130e All-In-One Printer to your new broadband provider's Wi-Fi network, you'll need to reconfigure the printer's wireless settings. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it:

 

Steps to Connect HP DeskJet 4130e to New Wi-Fi Network:

Prepare for Setup:

  • Ensure your printer is turned on and has paper loaded in the input tray.
  • Make sure your computer or mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network that you want your printer to connect to.

Access Printer Control Panel:

  • On the printer’s control panel, locate and press the Wireless or Wi-Fi button. This will typically be represented by a wireless icon.

Enter Wi-Fi Setup Mode:

  • Press the Setup button (gear icon) or the Wi-Fi Setup button on the printer's control panel. This will initiate the wireless setup wizard.

Select New Network:

  • Use the arrow keys to navigate and select Network Setup or Wireless Setup.
  • Choose Wireless Setup Wizard or a similar option to start searching for available networks.

Choose Your Network:

  • The printer will scan for available Wi-Fi networks. Select your new broadband provider's Wi-Fi network from the list.
  • If prompted, enter the Wi-Fi network password using the printer's control panel. Use the arrow keys to navigate the on-screen keyboard and press OK or Enter after entering each character.

Complete Setup:

  • Once the printer connects to the new Wi-Fi network successfully, the wireless light on the printer will stop blinking and remain solid.
  • Print a wireless network test report to confirm that the printer is connected to the correct network.

HP Smart App (Optional):

  • You can use the HP Smart app on your mobile device to assist with setting up your printer on the new Wi-Fi network. The app provides step-by-step instructions and can help troubleshoot any issues.
  • Download the HP Smart app from your app store (Google Play Store for Android or App Store for iOS), then follow the app's prompts to set up your printer.

Printer Firmware Update:

  • If your printer has been disconnected for a while or if you encounter connectivity issues, consider updating your printer's firmware. This can often resolve connectivity issues and ensure compatibility with your new network.

Restart Devices:

  • After setting up the printer on the new Wi-Fi network, restart your printer and any connected devices (like your computer or mobile device) to ensure all connections are established properly.

By following these steps, you should be able to successfully link your HP DeskJet 4130e All-In-One Printer to your new broadband provider's Wi-Fi network.
