I set up a password to secure configuration. It now requests Sign in to access this Site Authorization required by https://192.168.100.38 . The problem is it requests a username that I ignore

There is a discussion of the problem here but the answer (solution?) was in a private message from an HP employee.

I notified a moderator and possibly they might have a record of the solution and I do not know.

The factory reset is described on page 136 of the users manual
