Hi @Thenoiraura,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To reset the username and password for the embedded web server on an HP Ink Tank Wireless 419 printer, you can perform a factory reset. Please note that a factory reset will also erase any other customized settings on your printer, so be prepared to reconfigure it afterward.
Here are the steps to perform a factory reset on your HP Ink Tank Wireless 419 printer.
-
Make sure the printer is powered on.
-
On the printer's control panel, press and hold the Cancel button and the Wireless button simultaneously for about five seconds. This should initiate the factory reset process.
-
The printer will start to reset, and you may see various lights flashing during the process. Be patient, as it might take a few minutes.
-
Once the reset is complete, the printer should return to its default settings, including the default username and password for the embedded web server.
The default username and password for most HP printers are typically as follows:
Username: admin
Password: admin
Please check your printer's manual or the HP website for the specific default login credentials for your printer model, as they can vary.
After the factory reset, you should be able to access the embedded web server using the default username and password.
Remember to change the password to something more secure as soon as you gain access to the web server to protect your printer's settings.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
