Hi @JennE6,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To set up your HP DeskJet 2723e All-In-One Printer with a new router or WiFi network, you can follow these general steps.

  • Prepare the Printer: Ensure that your printer is turned on and ready. Make sure there's paper loaded and enough ink.
  • Access Printer Settings: Many printers, including HP DeskJet models, have a small display screen where you can access settings. Navigate to the wireless settings menu. This might be labeled differently depending on your printer model.
  • Reset Network Settings: If your printer is still configured to connect to your old WiFi network, you might need to reset its network settings. Look for an option to "Reset Network Settings" or "Restore Defaults" in the printer's settings menu.
  • Connect Printer to WiFi: After resetting the network settings, your printer should be in a state to connect to a new WiFi network. Navigate to the wireless settings menu again and select the option to set up a new connection. Follow the on-screen instructions to search for available WiFi networks and enter the credentials for your new WiFi network.
  • Use WPS (if available): Some routers and printers support WiFi Protected Setup (WPS), which allows you to connect devices to your WiFi network without entering a password. If your router and printer support WPS, you can use this method for quick and easy setup. Simply press the WPS button on your router, then follow the instructions on your printer's display to complete the connection.
  • Confirm Connection: Once you've entered the WiFi network credentials or used WPS, the printer will attempt to connect to the new network. After a successful connection, the printer should display a confirmation message. You can also check the printer's status on your router's admin page or by printing a network configuration report from the printer's menu.
  • Test Printing: To ensure that the printer is properly connected to the new WiFi network, send a test print from your computer or mobile device. If the printer responds and prints the test page, it's successfully connected to the new network.

These steps should help you set up your HP DeskJet 2723e All-In-One Printer with your new router or WiFi network.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
