@Mkc0112, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP Laserjet M110we!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If your HP LaserJet M110we is asking for a Wi-Fi password during setup, it’s likely trying to connect to your home Wi-Fi network. Here’s how you can resolve it:
Find the Wi-Fi password for your network
- If you have access to the Wi-Fi router:
- Look for a sticker on the router — the default Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password are usually listed there.
- If you've changed the password and forgotten it, you can log into the router’s settings using a web browser:
- Type 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 into the browser.
- Enter the router’s admin username and password (usually found on the sticker).
- Navigate to the Wi-Fi settings to find or reset the password.
Reset the Printer’s Network Settings (if you can’t connect or need to start fresh)
- Turn off the printer.
- Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for about 10 seconds until the light starts blinking — this will reset the network settings.
- After resetting, the printer will enter setup mode (indicated by the blinking Wi-Fi light).
Connect Printer to Wi-Fi Using the HP Smart App
- Download the HP Smart App from the App Store on your iPad.
- Open the app and sign in or create an account.
- Tap Add Printer → Set Up a New Printer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
- If it asks for the Wi-Fi password, enter the one for your home network (from Step 1).
Complete the Setup on Your iPad
- Once the printer is connected to Wi-Fi, it should automatically appear in the list of available printers on your iPad.
- Go to Settings → Wi-Fi → Make sure your iPad is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer.
- Open a document or photo → Tap Share → Select Print → Choose your printer.
Let me know if you need more help! 😊
Take care, and have an amazing day!
