The printer is not connected to WiFi, when I go to network setup it says there’s no Ethernet cable, but it’s never had one! Then there is a yellow triangle on Ethernet summary, saying IP address is not connected. 
mum lost as to what to do to fix this, can anyone help please 🙏

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that you are getting connectivity issues on your notebook, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.  

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.
