Hi @Ickymalayo,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
To clear old print orders (print jobs) from the queue of your HP Envy 5546 printer on Windows 10, follow these steps:
Steps to Clear the Print Queue
Open the Print Queue
- Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog.
- Type control printers and press Enter. This will open the Devices and Printers window.
- Find your HP Envy 5546 printer in the list, right-click on it, and select See what's printing.
Cancel All Print Jobs
- In the print queue window, click on Printer in the top-left menu.
- Select Cancel All Documents.
- Confirm the action if prompted. This will clear all pending print jobs in the queue.
Restart the Print Spooler Service
- Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog again.
- Type services.msc and press Enter.
- In the Services window, scroll down to find Print Spooler.
- Right-click on Print Spooler and select Restart. This will restart the print spooler service and clear any remaining print jobs stuck in the queue.
Check for Stuck Print Jobs (If Needed)
- Sometimes, the print queue may not clear immediately. Repeat the steps above if necessary or restart your computer to ensure the print queue is fully cleared.
Additional Tips
- Disable Offline Printing: Ensure that the printer is not set to work offline by right-clicking the printer in Devices and Printers and selecting Use Printer Online if needed.
- Check USB or Network Connection: Make sure your printer is properly connected to your PC or network to avoid communication issues.
These steps should help you clear any old print orders from your HP Envy 5546 printer's queue.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
