Yes, you can connect your HP Smart Tank 5101 All-in-One Printer to your laptop using a USB cable and still use your 5G internet on the laptop. The printer connection via USB does not interfere with your laptop's internet connection.
However, if you are referring to Wi-Fi 5 GHz (5G Wi-Fi) instead of mobile 5G internet, then note that the HP Smart Tank 5101 only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. It cannot connect to a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network wirelessly. But since you are using a USB connection, this limitation won't affect your ability to print while using your 5G internet on the laptop.
