Cannot change my printer (HP LaserJet M15w) settings because of an incorrect password.
1. In the past I had setup my printer to my hotspot and had a password.
2. I had planned to now setup my printer to my home LAN.
3. I reset my printer by pressing the "Wireless button" for 22 seconds.
4. Using, HP Smart I tried to set up the wireless settings, but the app kept asking for my password.
5. I printed the "Configuration Report" by pressing the "Resume/Cancel button" for 5 seconds.
6. In the "Configuration Report" the Wi-Fi Direct Setup Status is listed as "Disabled".
7. I have connected the printer with a USB and using the HP Smart app have tried to update the settings, but it does not respond.
8. I have tried to sign in.
9. And i get the log in prompt.
10. I have tried my old password, the default 12345678, and just leaving it blank, and I have no luck.
Anyone have any ideas what might be going on?
Thanks.
