Intermittent Printing on Pagewide 577

I'm having an intermittent printing issue with my pagewide pro. The printer was working fine when I left for the weekend on Friday. When we came back after the weekend, we were unable to print. The printer would act like it's about to print, wake up, open the little door where the paper comes out, display it's printing on the screen, but then nothing would come out and the door would close. I did some troubleshooting and at first it looked like it was just pdf files that wouldn't print but then other applications wouldn't print either (an industry specific program that prints letters and receipts, Chrome, Safari, etc.). I was able to print test pages from the HP utility and text files with a few lines of text. Sometimes files like pdfs and letters would print but it would either be just a blank page with this text at the top or the document with this text at the top over the document:

Some other things I have tried are moving the printer to a new location and switching it from ethernet to wireless. I also brought a 377 from home, that was working at home, but ran into the same issues at my office. Oh, btw this is in a small office setting and I have tried these steps from multiple computers, all Macs, with different OS versions as well as deleting and reinstalling the printer using both specific airprint drivers and generic postcript drivers as well as the HP easy install utility or whatever it's called. I've also run the diagnose and fix from HP smart and it found no issues.

No matter what, simple text files always print. PDFs almost never print but I was having a little bit of luck getting them to print when I connected the printer in a different location using wifi, at which point I thought the issue was resolved and moved it back to the printer spot leaving it connected to wifi but the problem reappeared. I moved it back to where it had been working and the problem still remained. I have also tried unplugging and holding the power button for 15 seconds, which sometimes fixes it for 1 or 2 prints but sometimes not. I have checked my router for IP conflicts and found none. Since the only constant seems to be that it's happening on my work network, whether it's ethernet or wireless, I suspect it's a networking issue but I'm not positive. Oh, and I also tried printing directly from my iPhone and that didn't work either. iPhone has the latest OS. I haven't tried printing with wifi direct yet but I think that's my next step. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
