Hi @karina_68,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand your printer is not appearing on your Wi-Fi settings, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Check Wireless Capability:

  • Ensure that the wireless light on your printer is turned on. If it’s not, you may need to enable the wireless mode by tapping the wireless icon on the printer's control panel, then navigating to Settings > Wireless > On.

Ensure No Ethernet Connection:

  • Confirm that an Ethernet cable is not connected to the printer. Connecting an Ethernet cable will disable the wireless functions.

Restart Network Components:

  • Turn off your router, wait a few seconds, and turn it back on. Do the same with the printer. Sometimes, this simple reset can resolve connection issues.

Run a Wireless Network Test:

  • Use your printer’s control panel to print a Wireless Network Test page by tapping the wireless icon, then navigating to Settings > Print Wireless Network Test. This test can provide recommendations if there are detected issues.

Check Network Name:

  • Ensure your computer is connected to the correct network (SSID) and not a nearby network with a similar name.

Attempt Wired Connection:

  • As a temporary measure, you might try connecting your printer to your computer via a USB cable to ensure the printer itself is functioning properly.

Check Network Configuration:

  • Make sure that your printer and computer are connected to the same network. You might need to change the printer’s IP settings to a static IP if dynamic IP changes are causing connectivity issues.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
