I don't want to have my printer HP 107w permanently connected to WiFi. I prefer to print directly using WiFi direct. So, is HP 107w supposed to work this way - no connection to wifi AP, but allowing to print using WiFi direct?
Side question, do i understand correctly that if I disable "main" wifi, then "wifi direct" will be also disabled? I don't currently have other meanings to connect to the printer other than wifi, so I'm a bit afraid to test it out myself:)
I guess behavior should be the same for 100 series, like 108w etc.

Just in case, it looks like 107w's wifi direct feature may be available while "main" wifi is disabled in EWS. I've took my chances and disabled wifi, but printer's inbuilt access point is still available, I can connect to printer's wifi using password from EWS.
But, as I can't yet get my wireless printer to print under android, I can't verify if printing works without printer's connection to my home wifi/ap
