HP Color LaserJet Pro M454dn
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We are using an HP Color LaserJet Pro M454dn printer in our setup, and it's connected to our staff PCs through the internet. Additionally, we have a print server that is connected to the printer via USB for another network to print to it as well. This setup has been working seamlessly for our needs.

However, we are facing an issue with the job log functionality. Despite being logged in as an administrator and having the job log feature enabled, the log doesn't show any history of print jobs. It remains completely empty, regardless of the jobs sent to the printer via usb or ethernet.

Could anyone provide insights into why no print jobs at all are being recorded in the job log? Your assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Try on one computer to install HP Universal Print Driver from hp.com and check the job log after printing from that computer using HP UPD

Thank You for the suggestion. I tried printing using the universal print driver but still didn't get an event in the job log.
