Hi @BookNerd68,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand you want to reconnect your HP printer to the internet after setting up a new modem. Follow these steps to try:

For HP Printers with a Touchscreen:

  1. Turn on the printer and make sure paper is loaded.
  2. On the printer's control panel, go to:
    • Wireless or Network Settings > Wireless Setup Wizard.
  3. Select your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) from the list.
  4. Enter your Wi-Fi password when prompted.
  5. Wait for the printer to connect. A solid blue wireless light usually indicates success.

For HP Printers Without a Touchscreen:

You can use Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) or the HP Smart app:

Option 1: Using WPS (if your router supports it)

  1. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer until it starts flashing.
  2. Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router.
  3. Wait for the wireless light to stop flashing and become solid.

Option 2: Using the HP Smart App

  1. Download and install the HP Smart app on your phone or computer.
  2. Open the app and select Set up a new printer.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi.

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
